Magnezit Group completed a large-scale investment project amounting to more than 3 billion rubles
Commissioning of the first on the territory of CIS multi-hearth furnace for calcination of magnesite took place today at the Satka production site of Magnezit Group (Satka, Chelyabinsk region, Russia). It marked completion of a large-scale investment project of the Group for establishment of the Complex for production of periclase clinkers — a new plant, construction of which can be without any exaggeration called a new stage in development of refractory industry in Russia.

New refractories of Magnezit Group for glass industry
Magnezit Group widened the range of refractory products with the new grades of bricks for glass-making industry. At the Satka production site (Satka, Chelyabinsk region, Russian Federation) the company has manufactured the first pilot batch of bricks of MZ-84 grade for lining walls and regenerator checker of glass-melting furnaces.

Magnezit Group to sponsor the judo world championship
Magnezit Group, one of the world leaders of refractory industry, is coming forward as general sponsor of the judo world championship, which is to be held 25–31 of August 2014 at the stadium «Тraktor» in Chelyabinsk, Russia. More than one thousand sportsmen from 120 countries of Asia, Europe, Africa, Northern and South America will take part in competitions. 16 sets of awards will be conferred to them.

Magnezit Group together with the specialists of the design company Aliter-Axi Ltd (St. Petersburg) has developed a new high performance product that is the thixotropic refractory castable for the steel ladle working lining.

Dmitry Artamonov was appointed as a director of PJSC «Panteleymonovka Refractory Plant» (settlement Panteleymonovka, Gorlovka town, Ukraine), Ukrainian production enterprise of Magnezit Group.
