Sergei Odegov and Lev Axelrod were awarded prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technics
Representatives of Magnezit Group were awarded prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technics of the year 2012 for development and introduction of innovative technologies for production and application of novel complex magnesia fluxes ensuring considerable improvement of lining strength and productivity of steel making vessels at leading metallurgical integrated works of the Russian Federation.
By Decree № 254-р dated February 27, 2013 the title of Laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technics was awarded to Sergei Odegov, CEO of Magnezit Group and Lev Axelrod, technical director of Magnezit Group.
Representatives of Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Central Research Institute of Ferrous Metallurgy of the name of I.P. Bardin» and of JSC «Ural Institute of Metals», JSC «Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Works», JSC «EVRAZ Nizhni Tagil Metallurgical Integrated Works», JSC «Severstal», JSC «Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Integrated Works», Closed JSC «Works of Briquetted Materials» have been also reckoned laureates of the prize for innovative technologies of magnesia fluxes production.
The Government of the Russian Federation instituted 40 annual prizes in the field of science and technics including 10 prizes for works in the sphere of defense and security. 291 people were presented for awarding prizes as well as for awarding title of laureate of prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technics. Representatives of 24 regions of the Russian Federation as well as of Ukraine were among authors of the works.
