Magnezit Group underwent certification audit according to the international standard GMP+
Magnezit Group has successfully undergone certification audit according to the international standard GMP+ for production of softly sintered magnesia powder Dalpor P85s, which is applied in agriculture as a feed additive for animals.
The audit was carried out by the certification authority Bureau Veritas Certification Nederland B.V.
Magnezit Group underwent international certification according to the standard GMP+ in 2010. In the framework of this activity safety of the production chain and application of Dalpor P85s as a feed additive for agricultural animals was confirmed on the highest level. This standard strictly regulates requirements to feed additives concerning content of hazardous elements — heavy metals, dioxine, furans and bifenils.
Dalpor P85s grade is produced at Satka production site of Magnezit Group (town Satka, Chelyabinsk region). It allows ensuring balance of diet of animals and poultry concerning magnesium. It is used in production of combined feeds. Magnesium is one of the most important elements in organism of breathers: it participates in maintenance of acid-base balance and osmotic pressure in liquids and tissues, ensures functional ability of neuromuscular system, participates in thermoregulation of body, protein metabolism, fat metabolism and mineral metabolism.
At present products of Magnezit Group for agriculture are delivered to Europe for consumers in Netherlands, Belgium, France, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Austria. Interest on the part of European consumers grows, so it is possible to expect growth of volumes of deliveries in the future. The company TIMAB Industries is a partner of Magnezit Group on European market.
